Welcome to the Seasoned Soul Sister’s Place🤍

If you’ve found your way here, chances are you’ve lived a little.

You’ve been hurt, misunderstood, betrayed, or stretched in ways you never asked for. You love God—and you’re still healing. Still unlearning. Still figuring out what wholeness looks like now.

This is a place for truth-telling and tenderness.

A place where faith and healing meet—without judgment, without pretending, and without pressure to be “over it.”

At Seasoned Soul Sister’s Place, we talk about the real things:

the scars we carry, the lessons they taught us, and the God who never left us while we were breaking. We believe healing is not rushed, forgiveness is a journey, and strength doesn’t always look loud.

You don’t have to explain yourself here.

You don’t have to be perfect.

You don’t have to have the right words.

Come as you are. Sit for a while. Read slowly. Breathe deeply.

This is a sisterhood rooted in Christ, guided by grace, and committed to becoming whole—together.

You’re safe here. And you’re not alone.

Meet Jenevieve Elise: The Heart Behind The Seasoned Soul Sister

Welcome, Sister.

I’m Jenevieve Elise, founder of The Seasoned Soul Sister.

This space was born from life experiences, faith, heartbreak, healing, growth, and the unwavering grace of God. Like many women, I have walked through seasons of joy and seasons of pain. I have known what it feels like to be overlooked, misunderstood, brokenhearted, and uncertain about the future. Yet through every chapter, God remained faithful.

The Seasoned Soul Sister is more than a website. It is a gathering place for women who are seeking encouragement, wisdom, healing, and hope. It is a place where real conversations happen, where faith meets everyday life, and where women are reminded that their story is not over.

Through my writing, storytelling, devotionals, prayers, music, and spoken-word pieces, I share messages that point women back to God’s promises. Whether I am writing about faith, relationships, healing from life’s disappointments, finding purpose, overcoming obstacles, or embracing the woman God created you to be, my goal is always the same: to inspire, uplift, and remind you that you are never walking alone.

My songs and stories often reflect the journeys many women silently carry—the scars they hide, the battles they fight, and the victories they are still believing God for. I believe every scar tells a story, every season has a purpose, and every woman deserves a safe place to grow, heal, and be encouraged.

If you have ever wondered whether God still sees you, hears you, or has a plan for your life, I want this community to remind you of one simple truth:

God has not forgotten you.

Thank you for visiting The Seasoned Soul Sister. My prayer is that every word you read, every song you hear, and every story you encounter leaves you feeling stronger, wiser, and more connected to the God who loves you beyond measure.

With love and faith,

Jenevieve Elise

Our Mission

To encourage, inspire, and uplift women through faith-centered storytelling, devotionals, music, prayer, and honest conversations that promote healing, spiritual growth, and purposeful living. We exist to remind women that no matter what season of life they are in, God’s grace is sufficient, their story still matters, and their best chapters may still be ahead.

“I Rose in the Rain” by Jenevieve Elise

Jenevieve Elise — Stories. Songs. Soul. Healing

On a rain-soaked night, a woman stands beneath the storm with tears on her face and worship in her heart. She is not crying because she has given up—she is singing because she survived. Every raindrop carries a memory of heartbreak, disappointment, prayers whispered in the dark, and battles nobody knew she fought.

This is the sound of a woman who refused to stay broken. A woman who learned that pain may visit, but it does not get permission to stay. Through every storm, every tear, and every unanswered question, God kept carrying her.

Tonight she raises her hands, lifts her voice, and declares:

“I bent… but I did not break. I cried… but I did not quit. I stood in the rain… and I still rose.”
